Background checks sound ominous and enigmatic, surrounded by mystery and wonder – why would someone want a background check unless they suspect someone of being evil? It’s a misconception in today’s society that background checks are for horrible reasons, but they’re really more common than one would think, and a variety of people are using them for any number of things.
